Tube Box S2 is our first product which enjoys a fully discrete design and does not need any operational amplifier (OpAmp). It is also the first product that allows the tubes to be exchanged and allows the sound to be shaped with other tubes according to your own preferences. Tube Box S2 has a very relaxing sound with full mids, which can otherwise only be found in much more expensive tube preamps. MM systems can be connected in the same way as MC pickups, a variety of amplification levels can be selected at the front. Five varia-ble input impedances are available to adapt to any system, the 47kOhm setting is fixed and also suitable for High Output MC pickup systems. The aluminium/metal housing is optically matched to that of the DS2 series and effectively protects against vibrations and electromagnetic interference to guarantee an interference-free sound. A real high-end solution in a much smaller format.
