Nektar Impact LX88+ USB Midi Controller Product Overview by GAKThe Nekstar Impact LX88+ USB Midi Controller is an 88 key controller keyboard packed full of professional, creative control. It hooks up automatically to your choice of DAW, and Nektar DAW Integration has been custom designed for most of the popular DAWs, offering much more functionality than most other MIDI controller keyboards, meaning you can focus on your solely on your creativity. The 88 keys are velocity sensitive, semi-weighted action with medium tension. The LX88+ offers four velocity curves that gradually increase in dynamics. On the other hand, three fixed velocity levels can be selected if consistent output is required. There are two Up/Down Octave and Transpose buttons which you can also assign to further functions like sending MIDI Program Messages or altering the Global MIDI channel. To the centre of the control area there is an easily read LED screen, transport controls, command buttons and pots. There are also nine faders will be assigned to the first eight DAW channels, while the ninth fader is assigned to the currently selected channel. There are eight highly responsive performance pads which have been calibrated to trigger at the lightest touch. They can also be assigned to any MIDI note number or cc message to for triggering or toggling.
