The Ironwood Gourmet Kansas City Carving Board is designed for carving juicy meat without all the mess. The carving board slopes to the right so the excess juices are routed by grooves on the boards surface. The juices collect into a large bottom pool where you can place your slices to keep them moist. Measures 15" L x 22" W x 2.25" H. This beautifully designed board is made from Acacia wood that is farmed throughout Southeast Asia. This pod bearing tree is known for its rich, dark colors, that range from gold to chocolate brown, as well as its beautiful, contrasting patterns. Acacia Wood has an unusual property known as chatoyancy. It appears to change color and luster in different lighting conditions. The wood can change from a light tan to a dark brown. Sometimes appearing similar to Walnut and sometimes more like teak. *Note for Customers Outside of North America. Some of our products use electricity for power.
